My First Quilt

Here is a photo of the first quilt I ever made. The pattern was in BH&G and I thought 'I can do that'.  I made it for my daughter who was about 7 years old at the time and she picked out all the fabric herself.  I am embarrassed to say it took me about 4 years to complete .... but I guess the good news is I did actually get it finished. Originally she picked out bright orange for the backing fabric, but by the time I was ready to complete it, she had grown out of orange, so off we went for a re-shop and she decided on the fun Betty Boop fabric you can see in the photos.
